Having been approved as an Industry Body in Western Australia CPREA has begun to provide CPD training under that state’s legislation with the first courses having been completed in October November and more scheduled according to Chairman, Geoff Baldwin.
“We have now completed approved courses in Perth and in the regional centre of Busselton with another for Metro agents scheduled for November 26”, he said.
“In addition to the elective courses we are now offering we will begin offering licensing courses from salesperson right through to diploma once our RTO (Registered Training Organisation) application is approved in early 2016.
“It is our commitment to be offering both online and live CPD opportunities in those states where CPD is a requirement and also the full range of legislated registration and licensing courses for all states during 2016.
“The recent survey completed by CPREA whereby over 5,000 respondents voted 90% in favour of uniform nation training and licensing has motivated us to instigate a complete and comprehensive national career path opportunity for agents in all states as a matter of priority.
“CPREA is attracting huge interest from agents who are looking for a professional edge and our members are finding that their prospective clients are extremely impressed with the fact that they are accredited members of a professional body.
“The scope of services offered to members by CPREA is increasing monthly and now includes a Member Benefits Card with offers from companies including QANTAS, Specsavers, Commonwealth Bank, Bupa, Bob Jane and more. Members are also taking advantage of a hugely effective free seller lead generator with the CPREA sponsored www.HotTipsForSellers.com.au initiative”, Mr Baldwin said.
